LEACHATE TREATMENT
LEACHATE TREATMENT
Leachate is the liquid resulting from a process of percolation of a fluid through a solid through which it flows.
Such runoff is usually from landfills or areas where waste accumulates.
Their composition can vary depending on the qualifying composition of the waste or simply on the meteorological conditions of the area, it also depends on the age of the controlled deposit.
PROBLEMS
In general, leachates present high levels of contamination, mainly due to: high concentrations of organic matter or nitrogen, the latter mainly in the form of ammonium.
As well as high concentrations of salts, mainly from chlorides and sulphates and with the presence of heavy metals.

ZEWATECH SOLUTION
The technology used in these circumstances allows to achieve a result defined by a practically dry residue and a 100% water recovery.
